I recently discovered thrifting! For those who don't know what that means, thrifting is going to thrift store. Personally, I love thrifting because there's nothing as good as finding a new piece for your wardrobe knowing nobody else will have it. Bonus! I don't get a chance to do it as often as I'd like because it is very time consuming and when I go I don't like to be in a rush because I really want to go through the store from top to bottom. If you would've asked me If I would go thrifting a year ago today, I would definitely say no! Which is a shame, because I've found a few amazing pieces from my local thrift stores, and I wish I would've started earlier!
Pros of Thrifting:
-Finding very unique pieces.
-Amazing prices for good quality items; I got a pink blazer, with gold hardware for $7.99 and it fits like a GLOVE.
-Getting more bang for your buck!
Cons of Thrifting:
-Like I said, it is very time consuming, so make sure you have lots of time and patience. You don't want to miss out on pieces!
-The smell of the store, but it is worth it for the pieces you could find.
-The thought of having "someone else's" clothing. Nothing a dry cleaner can't fix!
Side notes: Don't limit yourself to where you shop! Keeping our budgets in mind of course, but trust me, you can find great things anywhere and I'm a person who will shop anywhere!
